  1. Get your grill to between 350° to 375°F, with a bed of coals built up for direct heat.
  2. Slice each squash into 1/4 inch slices and lay out on a baking sheet or large cutting board.
  3. When your grill is ready, brush the first side with oil and season with half the salt and pepper. Flip and repeat on the opposite side.
  4. Place over direct heat without crowding and grill for 4 minutes, flip and cook another 4 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
