We’re sharing a delectable recipe for a grilled three-cheese sandwich TODAY (a day dubbed by our Disney Parks Blog Team as “Grilled Cheese Eve”) in anticipation of National Grilled Cheese Day on April 12!

While we can’t currently visit Andy’s backyard, this delicious recipe from Woody’s Lunch Box at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is just one more fantastic way to create #DisneyMagicMoments in your own backyard (or kitchen).

Disney Park’s Official Three-Cheese Grilled Cheese Sandwich đź”—

Did you ever try the three-cheese grilled cheese sandwich at Woody’s Lunch Box at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World? Well, now thanks to Disney Releasing the recipe you can make it at home!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Double Gloucester or cheddar 
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon coarse salt
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt
  • 8 slices of artisan bread
  • 8 cheddar cheese slices
  • 8 provolone slices

Instruction:

Make Cream Cheese Spread
Mix together the shredded cheese (I used cheddar) , cream cheese, heavy whipping cream & salt in a mixer.

Place in a small bowl and set aside.

Make the Garlic SpreadMix together mayonnaise, minced garlic & salt.

Place in a small bowl and set aside.

Assemble & Cook SandwichSet out all 8 slices of artesian bread

On 4 slices place 2 slices of Provolone cheese on each

On 4 slices place 2 slices of Cheddar cheese on each

Spread an even layer of Cream Cheese spread on the slices with provolone.

Press the cheddar side and the provolone side together. (sandwiching the cream cheese spread in the middle. )

Heat a large skillet over medium heat

Brush the outsides of the sandwhiches with the garlic spread. 

Grill sandwiches for 2 minutes on each side, until cheese is melted and bread is golden brown.
