I’m not sure why it took me so long to order a grilled cheese from Starbucks, but let’s just say that when I did, my expectations were completely disproved. This grilled to perfection sandwich is made with two kinds of cheese, mozzarella and white cheddar that make it ooey-gooey. And the outside of the bread is coated with a seriously delicious parmesan and butter mixture.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter (softened)
  • 2 slices sourdough bread
  • 1 slice mozzarella cheese
  • 1 slice white cheddar cheese

Instruction:

  1. Heat frying pan over medium low heat.
  2. Mix together softened butter and parmesan cheese and apply to a single side to each slice of bread.
  3. Gently lay the bread down, buttered side down. Add the slices of cheese and close the sandwich with buttered sides out.
  4. Place in the frying pan and toast each side for 2-3 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  5. Serve hot and enjoy!
