FAQ

What should the internal temperature of smoked meatloaf be?

To ensure that the meatloaf cooks and doesn’t dry out, the oven should be set at 350 degrees F. If you lower the temperature, you won’t get the meatloaf’s signature crust; if you raise it, the exterior will burn before the interior is fully cooked.

What is the secret to moist meatloaf?

After smoking the meatloaf for 2 1/2 to 3 hours, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 160 degrees F, remove it from the smoker, transfer it to a cutting board, slice it, and serve it right away.

What does adding milk to meatloaf do?

Eggs, ketchup, tomato paste, mustard, Worcestershire, barbecue sauce, or any other combination of wet seasonings should be added because they not only give the meat flavor and texture, but they also make it incredibly juicy.
