Grilled Portobello Mushroom Recipes With Cheese

These Caprese-style stuffed portobello mushrooms are so delicious! They’re grilled portobello mushrooms tossed in a straightforward balsamic herb marinade, topped with fresh mozzarella cheese, cherry tomatoes, and basil, and grilled to perfection.

Until I made these tender and juicy Grilled Portobello Mushrooms stuffed with caprese salad and grilled until the mozzarella cheese melts into gooey perfection while the tomatoes burst into little juicy gems of goodness, I always thought that if I ever had to choose my last meal, it would be a nice medium-rare steak.

Remove the mushrooms from Ziploc bag and put a pinch of sea salt on each side of the portobellos. Grill the portobellos for 10 minutes with the inside (the side where the stem was) down. Flip the portobellos and grill for another 3 minutes. After 3 minutes, put shredded mozzarella on the inside of the portobellos.
