Grilled Lamb Chops Recipe Indian

I’ve been wanting to try this recipe for a while but somehow work and/or diet always got in the way. These Peshawari lamb chops are a perfect 10 on a scale of one to ten.

I initially thought these lamb chops at Sabir Karim’s Namaaste Kitchen in Camden were incredible.

It’s a good thing Sabir agreed to share his recipe with us because these lamb chops are simply the best.

These Tandoori Grilled Lamb Chops are an easy summer grilling recipe that is full of rich, deep, Indian-inspired flavors.

Ingredients:

  • 6 Lamb chops
  • 3/4 c Greek yogurt
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Garam masala
  • 1 tbsp Turmeric
  • 3 Garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tsp Ginger (minced)
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 2 tsp Paprika
  • ¼ tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 tsp Salt

Instruction:

  1. Combine Greek yogurt, garam masala, turmeric, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, cayenne pepper, and salt in a bowl and stir until fully mixed together.
  2. Pour marinade into a gallon freezer bag and add the lamb chops.
  3. Seal bag and move chops around inside until they are well coated with marinade.
  4. Place in refrigerator and let sit for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Heat grill to 400 degrees F.
  6. Remove chops from marinade and scrape off excess.
  7. Place chops on grill and grill for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  8. Enjoy!
