These Grilled Prawn Skewers are quick, easy, and totally healthy. The sauce here doubles as a marinade and a glaze—don’t forget to reserve some for basting the prawns while they’re on the grill!

Ingredients:

  • 60 mL extra-virgin olive oil
  • 60 mL lime juice
  • 4 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 3 tbsp. honey
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp. chilli garlic sauce or Sriracha
  • 900 g prawns, peeled and deveined
  • Freshly chopped coriander, for garnish
  • Lime wedges, for serving

Instruction:

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, lime juice, garlic, honey, soy sauce, and chilli sauce. Reserve 60ml marinade for brushing onto prawns while grilling.
  2. In a large bowl, toss prawns with remaining marinade. Preheat grill or grill pan and thread prawns onto skewers. Grill prawns until pink and opaque, about 3 minutes per side, brushing with reserved marinade before and after each flip.
  3. Garnish with coriander and serve hot with lime wedges.
