FAQ

How do you grill a cheeseburger?

Generously salt and pepper both sides of the burger patties. Place the burgers on the grill grates and cook, uncovered, for 3 to 5 minutes a side, depending on the desired level of doneness. If you’re adding cheese to make cheeseburgers, add the cheese in the last minute and cover the grill to help it melt.

Do you put egg and breadcrumbs in hamburgers?

To make hamburger patties, just mix the ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, evaporated milk, and spices and seasonings in a bowl using your hands.

What kind of cheese goes on a BBQ burger?

American cheese is a melty classic; smoked gouda is delicious on burgers with barbecue sauce. You can’t forget cheddar, either, which works with everything from pickled slaw and fried shallots to tarragon Russian dressing.
